Daily Pre and Post Game Field Maintenance Tasks
The following pre and post game field maintenance tasks must be completed by the home team before and after every game.
Pre-game
Lightly hose down and wet infield skin (if necessary)
Drag infield skin using brush or metal honeycomb drag
Pull by hand if field or grass is very wet
Rake around all bases (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
Rake 1st and 3rd base lines
Rake area around home plate
Line infield using white chalk
Line outfield using white paint
Post game
On Bosze and Muchmore only - Fill in clay on mound rubber and landing area (if necessary)

On Bosze and Muchmore only - Fill in clay in batter boxes following same process as above for mound (if necessary)
Rake All Bases (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
Level out bases and rake behind 1st and 3rd base
Rake 1st and 3rd base lines
Rake area around home plate
Clean up wrappers, bottles, garbage around the field and stands
Empty garbage cans and throw them into dumpster
Close any gates if last game of the day
Turn off lights if last game of the day
Make sure all equipment is put back in its original spot if last game of the day
- Make sure that all sheds are closed and locked if last game of the day
